Empowering Teachers Through Extra Marks Training

NHLPS and MGPS Strengthen Digital Teaching-Learning Practices

On 16 September 2026, a comprehensive Extra Marks Teacher Training Programme was organised for the teaching faculties of Navnidh Hassomal Lakhani Public School (NHLPS) and Mithi Gobindram Public School (MGPS). The training was conducted from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in two groups to cater to different levels of proficiency.

The Beginner Level Training was conducted at the MGPS Auditorium, while the Advanced Level Training was conducted at the NHLPS Auditorium. The sessions were led by experienced Extra Marks trainers Mr. Jeet Rastogi and Mr. Shubham Dahat.

The training focused on the effective use of Extra Marks content and special features, digital tools, Digi Panels and digital boards, along with the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in lesson planning. A significant component of the programme was hands-on practice, enabling teachers to gain practical confidence in using these technologies meaningfully in their classrooms.

The programme was attended by the teaching faculties of both schools. Shri Ghanshyam Bulchandani, Secretary, SHKES, along with the Principals of NHLPS and MGPS and the Vice Principal of MGPS, remained present and encouraged the teachers in their endeavour towards continuous professional development.

The training is an important step towards strengthening technology-enabled and student-centric education. By enhancing teachers' skills in using Digi Panels, digital resources, interactive content and AI-supported lesson planning, the programme will enable them to make classroom teaching more engaging, visual, interactive and effective.

The ultimate beneficiary of this professional development initiative will be the students. As teachers bring these newly acquired skills into their classrooms, students will have greater opportunities to understand concepts through interactive digital content, visual learning, demonstrations and technology-supported activities.

Through such continuous capacity-building initiatives, NHLPS and MGPS reaffirm their commitment to equipping teachers with contemporary teaching skills so that every child receives a richer, more engaging and future-ready learning experience.
