Joint Celebration of the 79th Independence Day by Mithi Gobindram Public School and Navnidh Hassomal Lakhani Public School

Mithi Gobindram Public School and Navnidh Hassomal Lakhani Public School jointly celebrated the 79th Independence Day with great joy, enthusiasm, and a dignified atmosphere. The core objective of this celebration was to instill values of patriotism, respect for the armed forces, gratitude, and a sense of duty among the students.

The students of both schools, filled with the spirit of patriotism and zeal, proudly saluted the National Flag and participated in the flag hoisting ceremony at MGPS & NHLPS with disciplined and impressive marching by the NCC cadets in the presence of the chief and distinguished guests.

The head and guiding inspiration of the institution, Param Shraddhey Siddh Bhauji, in his conveyed message, extended heartfelt Independence Day greetings to the entire school family. He expressed confidence that the teachers of his institutions would continue to provide quality education and imbibe noble values in students, enabling them to become exemplary citizens who contribute to the nation’s progress and global standing.

On this occasion, Chief Guest Major (Retd.)Vinod Kumar Sharma conveyed Independence Day greetings to the students and teachers. Remembering the sacrifices of the martyred soldiers, he inspired the students to keep their legacy alive. He emphasized that true patriotism lies in sincere service to humanity, respect for teachers, and a disciplined life. He encouraged students to lead life with confidence and discipline while staying away from negativity.

Special Guest Shri Rajiv Mishra, expressing his thoughts on “How will the India of our dreams be?”, said that no person is entirely successful or unsuccessful; every individual has certain strengths and weaknesses. He advised students to travel more, explore India and the world, stay cheerful, and communicate with their loved ones when facing life’s challenges. He inspired them to keep moving forward on the path of progress.

Respected Shri Ghanshyam Bulchandani, Secretary of Shaheed Hemu Kalani Education Society, extended Independence Day greetings to the school family, stating that fulfilling one’s duties with dedication and providing students with the best education is true patriotism. He emphasized that when every citizen fulfills their responsibilities with honesty, both society and the nation will progress.

Principal of Mithi Gobindram Public School, Shri A.N. Manikandan, also conveyed heartfelt Independence Day greetings to the entire school family.

Principal of Navnidh Hassomal Lakhani Public School, Mrs. Amrita Motwani, extended greetings to both schools on this occasion, highlighting that students of both institutions have achieved excellence in academics, NCC, sports, and other fields. She motivated students to work with hard work and dedication.

As part of the colourful cultural programme, under the able guidance of the music departments of both schools, the students presented dances, plays, and patriotic songs. Their captivating performances enthralled the audience.

On this occasion, Best Student Awards were presented to students in five categories their parents were invited and honoured with saropa, shrifal and bouquet of flowers .
Along with this NCC Camp Certificates and Star of the Section Awards were conferred upon deserving students. Teachers were also honoured with the Star Teacher of the Month Award.
Adding to the pride of the moment, Alumnus Mr. Siddharth Jain shared his inspiring journey from being a student of MGPS to securing a coveted seat at IIM Bangalore, motivating the audience with his achievements and dedication.

The event was graced by the presence of Shri Ghanshyam Boolchandani (Secretary), Shri K.L. Ramnani (Joint Secretary), Shri Thanwar Varlani (Executive Management Member), Shri Gopal Girdhani (Academic Director), Shri A.N. Manikandan (Principal, Mithi Gobindram Public School), Mrs. Amrita Motwani (Principal, Navnidh Hassomal Lakhani Public School), Mrs. Rekha Kewlani (Vice Principal), Coordinators, the entire teaching fraternity, parents, and students.

The Vote of Thanks was proposed by Principal Shri A.N. Manikandan.
The programme was successfully anchored by teachers Mrs. Vishika Panjwani, Mrs. Lata Manwani, Ms. Geeta Yadav, and students Mohit Dey, Akshansh Jain, Kartik, Manya Morandani, and Himanshi Shewani.
