On 11 April 2026, a highly inspiring and enriching session on “Mindfulness and Meditation for Relieving Teachers’ Burnout” was conducted in the auditorium of Mithi Gobind Ram Public School by the Vice Principal, Mrs. Divya Kriplani.
During the session, she elaborated on the impact of mental and work-related stress on teachers. She emphasized that continuous work pressure can adversely affect the quality of teaching, and therefore, it is essential for educators to maintain mental balance and a positive outlook from time to time.
Mrs. Divya Kriplani discussed various effective strategies and activities to manage stress. In particular, she explained the “Box Breathing Technique” of meditation in a simple and practical manner, which was found extremely beneficial by the teachers.
To infuse positive energy, she conducted a “1 Minute Activity” that revitalized and energized the participants. Additionally, through the “Gratitude Flower Vase” activity, she encouraged teachers to focus on the positive aspects of life and adopt a stress-free approach.
In her address, she also highlighted the importance of engaging in personal interests and hobbies that bring inner joy, as these small moments of happiness play a vital role in strengthening mental well-being and enhancing work efficiency.
At the end of the session, all the teachers felt relaxed, energized, and motivated. The session proved to be not only effective in stress management but also successful in instilling renewed positivity and enthusiasm towards work among the teachers.
