Special Prayer Assembly Marks the Beginning of the New Academic Session at Mitthi Gobindram Public School

A special prayer assembly was solemnly organized at Mitthi Gobindram Public School on the first day of the new academic session 2026–27. The event took place in the school assembly ground, where the entire responsibility of conducting the program was efficiently managed by the teaching staff.

“The morning assembly commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, as per the cherished tradition of our school.”.

During the assembly, the President of Shaheed Hemu Kalani Educational Society, Shraddhey Sidd Bhauji, addressed the students with inspiring words. He emphasized that education is the most effective path to progress. Highlighting the importance of a healthy lifestyle, he advised students to include sprouted grains in their daily diet. He further stated that healthy and aware students form the strong foundation of a progressive society. He also stressed the significance of time management and encouraged students to follow a well-structured timetable for their studies.

The Principal of the school, Mr. A. N. Manikandan, in his motivating address, highlighted that both discipline and education are essential for success in life. He elaborated on the two vital dimensions of school education—academic and co-curricular activities. He emphasized that in the present era, co-curricular education has become an integral part of the mainstream, offering students opportunities to explore and enhance their hidden talents. These activities have been given due importance in the school timetable. He encouraged students to remain alert, active, and disciplined in their studies.

The Vice Principal, Mrs. Divya Kripalani, extended her best wishes to the students for the new session and expressed hope that they would excel not only in academics but also in various co-curricular activities, setting new benchmarks of achievement.

The assembly also featured special presentations by the teachers, including a thought for the day and two melodious group songs, which created an inspiring and enthusiastic atmosphere.

Continuing the session, the school counselor, Mr. Piyush Turkar, addressed the students and highlighted the importance of the Code of Conduct. He emphasized that qualities like equality, generosity, and compassion are essential for achieving success in life. He further stated that discipline is the foundation that leads students towards continuous growth and progress. He expressed confidence that students would remain disciplined and focused to achieve excellent results in the new session.

The assembly was effectively conducted by senior teacher Mrs. Nirmala Tiwari. Students from Classes I to XII and all teaching staff were present on this occasion.

The special prayer assembly held on the first day of the new academic session conveyed a strong message of discipline, motivation, and positive energy, filling the entire school campus with enthusiasm and renewed spirit.
