Raksha Bandhan Celebration at MGPS

The Sadbhavana Club of Mithi Gobindram Public School (MGPS) celebrated Raksha Bandhan on 27 August 2026 in the school quadrangle for the students of Classes I to V.

The programme commenced with a beautiful poem and an informative speech highlighting the significance and cultural importance of Raksha Bandhan.

Students of Classes II A, II B and II C presented a vibrant group dance, adding joy and enthusiasm to the celebration.

Mrs. Palak Dwivedi, in her teacher’s address, spoke about the significance of Raksha Bandhan and highlighted the values of love, care, protection and togetherness that the festival represents.

Principal Mrs. Rekha Kewlani conveyed a heartfelt message on the occasion and emphasised the importance of nurturing relationships with love, care and mutual respect.

Mrs. Divya Kriplani, Vice Principal, shared inspiring thoughts on the values of love, trust, protection, unity, harmony and togetherness.

The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks, leaving the students with a meaningful message of love, harmony, mutual respect and goodwill.
