‘CAREER IN INDIAN ARMED FORCES’

at Mithi Gobindram Public School

 

On 10th April 2018, an informative and knowledgeable session was held on getting a Career in Indian Armed Forces for the students of class X & XII of Mithi Gobindram Public School. The session was addressed by Colonel Narayan Parwani.

The programme commenced with the lighting of ceremonial lamp and garlanding the portraits of goddess Saraswati, Goddess Bharat mata and Paramhans Sant Hirdaram sahibji. Dr. Ajaykant Sharma, Principal offered a floral welcome to the guest Colonel Narayan Parwani and motivated the students to derive maximum benefits from the session which they may utilize for themselves and share with others also. He commanded discipline, decorum and active participation from students for the success of the session. Mr. A.C. Sadhwani, Secretary, SHKES asked the students to make a Witten note of whatever is being guided so that the can use the details whenever they really required.

Rev. Siddh Bhauji, Chairman, SHKES, believes that each child must understand his moral responsibility toward society & nation. Indian Armed Forces help to execute these responsibilities so students must serve the country by being a part of Armed Forces.

Colonel Narayan Parwani commenced the session with a small slide – show portraying the life of a soldier. He then outlined the benefits of choosing a career in armed forces. Which include job satisfaction, job security, physical fitness, quality life, economic stability, social status, adventure, professional advancement, exemption from heavy expenditure of studies and feel the pride of being the best.

Then he presented the procedure by which students can join the Armed forces. Here, he outlined the grandeur of National Defence Academy to be a part of NDA, he discussed the academic, medical and physical requisition. He educated the students about the right time to appear for the competitive exam mandatory subjects and resources accessible to achieve the goal in NDA.

He reflected great concern for the physical fitness and its significance in students life and set the parameters to be touched by the students. He instigated the students to face the challenges of life frequently and experience adventures in life.

At the end of the session Col. Parwani answered the queries of students complacently and patiently.
