'Azadi Ke Rang' program organised by the Social studies department at Mithi Gobindram Public School.

The three-day 'Azadi Ke Rang' on account of 77th Independence of our nation concluded at Mithi Gobindram Public School.

On the second day of ‘Azadi ke Rang’, a painting, clay modeling and essay competition was organised for the students of class VI to VIII.
The competition depicted the beauty of our country along with its national symbols, memorials, temples and the India of my dreams. While essay writing included topics like Rang De Basanti, etc.

And on the third and concluding day of the program, the speech competition for classes 
IX - X was conducted.
The sole objective of this competition was not only to put forth the embedded patriotism in young hearts but also to inculcate love and pride towards the national heritage of our country. The programme   also focussed on development of the language command, expression, skills, ideological, logical-power and boosting of self-confidence amongst students. 

The program was attended by Mr. Gopal Girdhari (Academic Director), Mr. Ajay Bahadur Singh (Principal), Mrs. Asha Changlani (Vice-Principal), Coordinator teachers and school students.

Shri Gopal Girdhani appreciated the efforts and creativity made by students. He mentioned that with proper mentoring, students can find and rightly channelise their creativity. Therefore, such competitions should be held occasionally, not only for the sake of thinking of the cognitive development of students, but because they also bring about students' thinking outside of the box. 

School Principal Mr. Ajay Bahadur Singh stated that creativity and artistic thinking can only come when an individual is disciplined. 
Therefore, students should always be disciplined in every sphere of life.

School Vice Principal Mrs. Asha Changlani congratulated the diligent efforts of teachers and students. Post then, she emphasised the expression skills of students, which are one of the most important factors of personal development. And believed that it’s the only practice that can make a student successful. Therefore, while addressing all the students, she emphasised reading good and meaningful texts and focused on building up a good vocabulary and thinking maturely & practically.

Below is the jury list who helped those who unbiasedly judge students based on their efforts: 

Jury: Painting - Ms. Huma Khan, Nisha Thapa, Mrs. Durga Mishra and Mr. Syed Maqbool Ahmed.

Clay Modeling - Mr. Brijesh Choure, Mrs. Neetu Vaswani, Mrs. Uma Raman and Mrs. Shashi Nath.

Essay - Mrs. Anju Gogia, Ms. Srishti Raj, Mrs. Binu Sharma, Mrs. Shashi Nath, and Ms. Nisha Thapa.

Speech - Mr. Devendra Sharma and Mrs. Kamini Soni should be present.

The efficient operation of the program was done by Mrs. Vinda Guhe (Social Studies department, Mithi Gobindram Public School.)
