SESSION ON “DANA PAANI” (FEED THE BIRDS)

With the blessings of Brahmalin Paramhans Sant Hirdaram Sahibji and under the guidance of Shraddhey Siddh Bhauji (Chairman, SHKES) and the Vice President of the Institute Shri Hero Gyanchandani, the Secretary of the Institute Shri A.C. Sadhwani, Joint Secretary Shri K.L. Ramnani, school principal Dr. Ajay Kant Sharma, vice-principal Mrs. Rita Gurbani, a prayer meeting was organized in Mithi Gobindram Public School on 25th April to explain the importance of bringing service towards innocent birds in this scorching summers.

Shraddhey Siddh Bhauji conveyed the soulful message of Sant Hirdaram Sahibji of true service, dedication and immense love towards animals and birds, one should have. He put forward his desire for nurturing birds with grains and water throughout the year. He said that if all the children start feeding them, they would not only invite positivity in their house but all the family members will be blessed with good health, prosperity and blissfulness. While addressing the session, he threw light on the psychology behind giving water to birds, he told that before having our own meals, we should provide grains to hungry and thirsty birds. The souls of these birds blossom when they get water early in the morning.

Shri Hero Gyanchandani, Vice-President, SHKES, while addressing the students in the morning assembly, said that the spirit of human welfare can be strengthened only when we inculcate the feeling of affinity for all the living beings of the world. For this, we have to fulfill our obligation of being human by giving food and water to the innocent animals and birds around us.

Shri A.C. Sadhwani drew the attention of the children towards the plight of speechless birds by making them realize how much we miss melody of birds in our life and how we should try to save them. He stressed upon raising children who are endowed with worthy humanitarian values.

Principal, Dr. Ajay Kant Sharma highlighted the fact that birds are becoming extinct day by day. He also told about the homely sparrow which is rarely seen now a days. So he requested everyone to save these speechless birds by feeding them.

At the end of the program, all the students were given one kg of rice, 2 pots to feed the birds and to become sensitive towards the silent creatures.
