EARTH DAY CELEBRATED IN MITHI GOBINDRAM PUBLIC SCHOOL

Mithi Gobindram Public School was abuzz with activities on Saturday 23 April 2022 and celebrated the World Earth Day. Cheerful students of the school gathered in morning assembly.

Exhilarating performance, speeches, poem recitation, and amazing facts were shared to emphasize on the acts we do to make our motherland green and clean.

Nikhil Madhwani and Jitesh Bhojwani Std. VII explained that Earth Day is observed in order to highlight the impact of climate change. This day also sheds light on various solutions through which we can save the planet. Krishna Phulwani and Harshit Peswani from IX class recited mellifluous poem for spreading awareness among students by requesting them to cut down the wastage of water. Amazing facts were shared by Vaibhav Lakhani and Shaan Prajapati.

A mind blowing skit " NATURE AT ITS BEST " was performed by a group of class VII students. Through this skit students depicted how to limitize the usuage of conventional resources and encouraged everyone to use non-conventional resources like solar energy wind energy etc.

Students got motivation for cleaning and making our motherland green in the presence of Principal Dr. Ajay Kant Sharma, Shri Bhagwan Babani, Administrative Officer and Vice Principal Ms. Rita Gurbani. An inspiring speech was delivered by Dr. Ajay Kant Sharma. The programme was summed up with the singing of National Anthem.
