      A motivational session on Eco Friendly Diwali was organized on 31st October 2018 in NHLPS Auditorium, for the students of grade X, XI and XII of Mithi Gobindram Public School, in the pious presence of Rev. Siddh Bhauji, Chairman, SHKES, Mr. A.C. Sadhwani, Secretary, SHKES, Dr. Ajay Kant Sharma, Principal, MGPS, Mr. Mazhar Ali, PGT-Physics, Mr. Rajeev Bhargava, PGT- Mathematics and other teachers.

        The session commenced with lighting of the ceremonial lamp and garlanding the portraits of Goddess Saraswati, Goddess Bharti and Paramhans Sant Hirdaram Sahibji.

        Rev. Siddh Bhauji, blessed the students with his wise words. He explained that the students must always be fresh, energetic and identify their capabilities and enhance their horizons. Educations breeds honor, wisdom and self-respect in society. He gave the example of Swami Vivekanand who epitomized wisdom, knowledge, peace and contentment. He asked to the students to make him their inspiration. He encouraged the students to discover their innate and dormant talent through meditation done in solitude. He guided them that distractions leads to destructions so students must keep away from the evil distractions in society. The ill-use of mobile phones is killing empathy and sympathy and nurturing apathy among people. He also enunciated that when people do not forgive and wish to avenge, then they lose their inner peace.  They divert their focus from significant to insignificant and that leads to their failures.  So spiritual connection with the almighty is quint-essential to retain the goodness within us. We must be grateful and thankful to people around us. He then underlined the importance of reading newspapers, good eating habits, self-reliance and independence.

Dr Ajay Kant Sharma, Principal  welcomed the students and teacher-speakers to the session. In his speech he highlighted the ill-effects of mobile phones and explained to the students the disastrous consequences of over- indulgence in mobile phones and social media. He motivated the students to be regular and punctual. He guided them about the latest changes in CBSE guidelines and updated them with the new question paper patterns.

Mr Rajeev Bhargava, PGT, Mathematics in his address appreciated Rev. Siddh Bhauji's concern for the future - builders of our nation i.e.  the students. He urged the students to be regular and punctual to school. He told the studnets to target their aim of life and make all efforts to achieve it. He told the students to practice self discipline in life by preparing a  schedule for themselves and organising their work. He shared various examples for increasing concentration various examples for increasing concentration in studies and advised the students to meditate everyday for at least 10 minutes. He shared with the students about the "Dream Project" and "MLL" strategies prepared by the teachers for their welfare. He also assured them that all teachers are always willing to solve their doubts. Furthermore he asked the children to respect and obey their parents and teachers and always maintain a healthy life style by eating nutritious food.

Mr. Mazhar Ali, PGT, Physics highlighted the ill effects of air pollution on our environment. He motivated one and all to celebrate a safe and happy Deepawali by making it pollution free. He even shared success mantra of responsibility, patience and Hard work with the students. He told the students to keep their efforts persistent to be successful.

           Discipline was taken care of by the council memebers.
